Walsall Confirm Media and Marketing Appointments

With many of their Social Media postings resulting in the usual 'Sign someone' response, Walsall FC have listened to their supporters and confirmed two new additions - to their media and marketing departments.
First-team manager Dean Keates has already added four new faces to his squad after securing the signatures of Andy Cook, Chris Dunn, Josh Ginnelly and Zeli Ismail, and is understood to be keen on signing more players before the Transfer Window closes in just under four week's time.

Keates, who recently revealed that he had missed out on a loan signing despite the deal appearing to be close to agreement, is looking to add strength to the club's defensive line with the manager hoping to sign a centre-back over the coming weeks.

Back to today's signings and first to confirm their appointment was former Saddlers Under-18s reporter and editor of 'Vital Birmingham', Tom Heslop, who will be joining the club's media department alongside Daniel Briggs and former Bescot Banter columnist Scott Brotherton, who provides matchday cover as well as working for the club's Community Programme.

The second to sign was Sam Hadwen, who - other than his social media postings - we know frustratingly little about, although he does seem happy to be joining the team, speaking via his official Twitter feed, he said; "Delighted to be joining Walsall as part of the marketing team! Can’t wait to see what is in store and to get started!"
