The Saddlers, who were already scheduled to take on Rushall Olympic, Cheltenham Town, Aston Villa and Ajax, have confirmed that they will play host to recently-relegated Stoke City on Saturday, 14th July, with kick-off scheduled for 3.00pm.
The Potters' ten-year spell in the Premier League came to an end last season after they were relegated in 19th position, joining West Bromwich Albion and Swansea City in slipping to the second tier.
Former Birmingham and Derby boss Gary Rowett replaced Paul Lambert as manager last month and will be expected to lead a promotion charge. City ran out 3-1 winners when the teams last met, in an EFL Cup second-round tie at the bet365 stadium in August 2013.
Ticket information will be released in due course.
