Zeli Ismail: Keates Keeping Tabs on Bury Winger

As he begins to shape his side ahead of July's return to training, Walsall manager Dean Keates has spoken to the press and admitted to being interested in former Saddlers loanee Zeli Ismail, who is set to leave the Shakers following their relegation to Sky Bet League Two.
Ismail, a product of Wolverhampton Wanderers' youth system, made twenty first-team appearances during a six-month loan spell at Banks's Stadium early in the 2017/18 campaign, before being recalled by his parent club as they struggled to find form.

Dean, speaking via the Express & Star, said; "I watched Bury a few times last season. Firstly in the build-up to our game and they were also playing against teams we had coming up. He is lively. He is somebody that, yes, we could look at him. But it’s still early days and there will be a lot of conversations going on. I’m interested in all good players coming to this football club."
