Ahead of today's clash, the young Saddlers' most recent outing saw them thrash Tranmere Rovers by six-goals-to-nil as Dan O'Sullivan (2), Ethan Freemantle, Dylan Parker (2), and Joe Cairns all hit the back of the net to record a very comfortable win.
The result failed to lift the Saddlers from their position towards the bottom of the table but did wonders for their goal difference as they looked to move away from the lower reaches over the final few months of the season.
This morning's clash got off to a slow start with very little in the way of goalmouth action for either side during the opening forty-five minutes. However, the Saddlers wasted very little time in opening their account during the second-half as Dylan Parker broke the deadlock just seconds after the half got underway.
The Saddlers further extended their lead later in the half as Dan O'Sullivan latched on to a through ball then showed great patience as he took his time and slotted the ball past Nathan Wolland in the Stanley goal.
There were no further goals as Graham Biggs' side eased to victory with a solid second-half showing.
