As Dean Keates and his Walsall side continue to prepare for Saturday's Sky Bet League One clash with Play-Off chasing Portsmouth, here is a run down of Good Friday's results and an update on the current standings.
Sky Bet League One: RESULTS

Blackpool 1 Doncaster Rovers 2
Bristol Rovers 2 Bury 1
Northampton Town 0 Charlton Athletic 4
Oxford United 1 Scunthorpe United 1
Oxford United 1 Scunthorpe United 1
Plymouth Argyle 4 Southend United 0
Rochdale 3 Shrewsbury Town 1
Rotherham United 1 Peterborough United 1

Wigan Athletic 3 Oldham Athletic 0
The Saddlers remain in 18th position in the table, four points clear of 21st placed Oldham Athletic, who lost to by three-goals-to-nil Wigan Athletic, and 22nd placed Northampton Town, who continue to struggle despite a fairly large transfer outlay, which has seen them add many players to their squad including former Saddler Richard O'Donnell.
With just eight games remaining and after suffering five defeats in their last six league outings, Walsall are still very much in danger and will need to get back to winning ways sooner rather than later as the number of upcoming games continues to dwindle.
