Walsall Football Club have confirmed that the Saddlers' upcoming Sky Bet League One clash with Oldham Athletic, which was due to take place at Boundary Park on Saturday, 24th March, has been postponed due to international call-ups.
Right-back Liam Kinsella, winger Maziar Kouhyar and on-loan Stoke City forward Julien Ngoy have all been called up to represent their respective countries.
Kinsella will link up with Republic of Ireland Under-21s for their friendly against Iceland on 22nd March and UEFA Under-21 qualifier against Azerbaijan five days later.
Kouhyar has been called up by Afghanistan for the AFC Asian Cup final qualifying round.
Ngoy will join Belgium Under-21s for their friendly against Holland on 22nd March and UEFA Under-21 qualifier at home to Hungary on 26th March.
Only Kinsella and Ngoy will be unavailable for the Saddlers’ next match at home to Wigan on Wednesday, 21st March, which will go ahead as planned. A new date for the Oldham match will be announced in due course.
