Walsall midfielder George Dobson has spoken to club journalists following the Saddlers' midweek defeat to Rochdale and admitted that the team have to be more consistent if they are to compete.
George, who was speaking via the club's official website - Saddlers.co.uk, said; "That’s the one thing we need to get better at. We’ve put in some really good performances, where you’re playing and think ‘we’re a really good team and have some really good players’. But some games we haven’t matched up to that.
"Before Rochdale, we had the great win at Southend. Before that, we had Peterborough and Blackburn, which were both losses, but we put in really good performances. And before those, we were on a four-match unbeaten run.
"If we can find that consistency, we can be a very good team in this league. That’s the one problem at the minute and what we will continue to work on going forward."
