As he edges ever closer to the end of his club contract, Walsall attacker Erhun Oztumer has spoken to Sky Sports and reiterated his desire to ply his trade at a higher level.
Erhun, who was speaking via SkySports.com, insisted that money was not a motivation, and he is just keen to test himself on a bigger stage, he said; "Every player wants to play higher, it's the ambition. Money doesn't motivate me. For me, it's playing at the highest ability, playing in front of bigger crowds and being the best that you can be."
The former Peterborough United forward, who has already turned down two contract extensions with the Saddlers, then reaffirmed his decision to sort out his future in the summer, he continued; "In the summer, I'll sit down with my agent and see what the options are, but I am excited about the future."
