EFL sponsor Sky Bet have updated their odds on who they think will be the man to replace recently sacked Walsall manager Jon Whitney, and have revealed that Wrexham boss Dean Keates is now the outright favourite.
Former Saddlers midfielder Dean Keates is now the 1/2 favourite for a return to the club. Walsall-born Keates, who is currently boss of Vanarama National League side Wrexham, has tried to distance himself from the job but appear to be closer than ever to a return to the Midlands.
Current Coventry City assistant-manager Adrian Viveash (9/4) remains among the favourites for a return to the club, while experienced managers Owen Coyle and Steve Cotterill (both (16/1) are also among the top prospects.
Club captain Adam Chambers can be backed with odds of 20/1. Current caretaker manager Ian Sharps stands at 15/1, while Jorge Leitao can be backed at 33/1.
