Walsall's on-loan Stoke City forward Julien Ngoy has spoken to the press following his goal-scoring debut, which saw the Saddlers secure three crucial points against fellow strugglers Milton Keynes Dons, and has insisted that it will not be the last goal he scores in a Saddlers shirt.
Ngoy, who was speaking via the Express & Star, said; "It was a big victory. I felt the team played very well and I was very pleased and happy to score on my debut. I felt proud. The night before and in the morning I was thinking about scoring. I’m sure it won’t be the last goal I score for Walsall."
Julien then went on to discuss what he wants to achieve during his time on loan at Banks's Stadium, he continued; "I wanted to come out on loan in the window. I was talking to the boss during the day. He spoke to me a lot and told me how much he wanted me to come to Walsall.
"It happened late so I didn’t know if I would be staying in the Under-23s at Stoke or coming here. But I wanted to go to a good team where I can express myself and I feel I have got that at Walsall. Stoke have told me to come here and enjoy it. They know I can do it."
