Walsall manager Jon Whitney has spoken ahead of Saturday's clash with League One leaders Blackburn Rovers, and insisted that he and his team are relishing the task in hand and are looking to continue their recent spell of good form.
Jon, who was speaking via the Express & Star, said; "It’s a mouth-watering prospect for us – a really nice challenge. Tony Mowbray can choose from an array of talent. I think they are where they should be in the table. But we’re looking forward to it. There has been an added buzz in training because it’s a challenge. It’s nice when the team top of the table come to town.
"We didn’t really give a good account of ourselves at their place. But we are looking to put that right tomorrow. We’ve won three home games on the bounce and we’re looking to keep it going. We’re looking forward to pitting our wits against them."
