Former Walsall midfielder Milan Lalkovic looks set to complete a Deadline Day transfer as he and parent club Portsmouth are believed to have agreed to cancel the remainder of his contract, bringing his time at Fratton Park to an end.

Lalkovic, who joined Pompey from the Saddlers in the summer of 2016, has made just eighteen first-team appearances for the South Coast side and also spent a spell on loan with Scottish side Ross County.

With the Saddlers looking to add to their squad over the course of Deadline Day we'd expect former Chelsea prospect Lalkovic to feature among the club's transfer targets with just hours of the transfer window remaining.
