Following the news that he'd put pen-to-paper on an eighteen-month contract extension, Walsall right-back Liam Kinsella has spoken to club journalists and welcomed the opportunity to commit his future to the club.
Kinsella, a Republic of Ireland Under-21 international who has made seventeen first-team appearances so far this season, discussed how much he is looking forward to continuing to progress at the club.
Liam, who was speaking via the club's official website - Saddlers.co.uk, said; "I’m delighted to get another year with the club. I’ve been here since I was eight and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. It’s a good place to be for a young player and I’m looking forward to playing my football here over the next year and a half.
"I’ve tried to improve every year appearance wise – and I’ve been getting more appearances every season. This season I’ve been trying to nail down right-back and put in the best performances I can. I want to play as many games as I can and produce the best performances I can when I play."
