Following the news that he'd agreed a deal to join local Premier League side West Bromwich Albion, Neil Cutler has spoken to club journalists and thanked everyone at the club as he begins a new chapter in his coaching career.
Neil, speaking via the club's official website - Saddlers.co.uk, admitted that he simply couldn't turn down the lure of joining his boyhood club, he said; "The club have been amazing to me over the past four or five years. Everyone involved with the club has been fantastic.
"It’s been progression over that four or five years – I’ve learned so much, especially from the manager, who has been amazing. The fans have been fantastic to myself as well. So when it came to making that decision, it wasn’t easy. But going to the Premier League with a team like West Brom – who were my club when I was growing up – was an offer I just couldn’t turn down."
