Walsall's on-loan Sheffield United defender James Wilson has spoken to the press ahead of Saturday's League One clash with Northampton Town and expressed his desire to remain at the Banks's after his Blades contract expires in the summer.
28-year-old Wilson, who is with the Saddlers on a season-long loan, has made eighteen first-team appearances since arriving in July and admitted that he could see himself playing for the club next season.
The Chepstow born defender, who was speaking via the Express & Star, said; "I could definitely see myself in a Walsall shirt next season – that is why I came here in the first place. I have got a family so I need to think about these things. I have got until the end of the season so we’ll see what happens then.
"I’m really enjoying it. The last few weeks have been tough with my injury. But I’m really enjoying it here. It’s a great bunch of boys, one of the best I have been in. The environment here is really positive."
