Walsall Football Club have confirmed that 32-year-old central defender James O'Connor, who has been out of favour at Banks's Stadium, has had his contract terminated by mutual consent.
News, released via Saddlers.co.uk, confirms; Walsall Football Club can confirm we have reached an agreement to cancel defender James O’Connor’s contract by mutual consent.
O’Connor becomes a free agent after spending three years at the Banks's Stadium, during which time the 32-year-old made 123 appearances for The Saddlers. The centre-half joined the club in July 2014 after leaving Championship side Derby County.
