Walsall Football Club have completed their second signing of the summer as Crewe Alexandra defender Jon Guthrie has agreed terms on a two-year contract, which will begin on Saturday, 1st July.
24-year-old Devizes-born Guthrie, who began his career with Pewsey Vale, made almost one-hundred and forty first-team appearances over his five-years with the Railwaymen, and will no doubt be a great boost the Saddlers' backline.
Jon, who joined Crewe in early 2012 following a successful trial, spent a brief spell on-loan with Leek Town where he made eight first-team appearances.
We would like to welcome Jon to the club and wish him all the best as he begins life as a Saddler.
