As the 2016/17 campaign is now over and the various End-of-Season events have come to an end, the time has come for work to begin on replacing the pitch at Banks's Stadium.
Leicestershire based Woodward Turf Care, who have worked with the club for several years, have started to strip the pitch before levelling and seeding can begin.
The quality of the pitch at the Home of the Super Saddlers has steadily increased over the years, from the days where it closely resembled a beach to today, where the pitch can largely stand up to the rigorous EFL campaign.
