Walsall winger Kieron Morris, who scored six goals in thirty-seven all-competition appearances last season, has spoken to the local press and discussed a variety of topics, including his belief that he is still making good progress as a player, and his desire to reach double figures during the 2017/18 campaign.
Speaking to the Express & Star's Walsall correspondent Joseph Masi, Kieron said; "I feel like I’m progressing all the time, I’m getting older and getting more experience. I feel like I’m a more senior pro instead of a young lad.
"Getting six goals last season I was delighted with, but I wanted more. I wanted 10 and to get into double figures. Now I’m looking ahead. Last season is done now, so we’ve got to look forward and I want to get double figures."
22-year-old Morris also discussed how ,much he is missing football, despite the season ending just over a week ago, he said; "Of course I miss it. When you’re a footballer you do it every day so when you have a week away, it’s weird not playing. You have to get a break in though, get some time off and spend some time with family and friends."
