Walsall Football Club have announced that, due to scheduling difficulties, there will not be an End of Season Awards ceremony this season.

It has also been confirmed that presentations will be made on the pitch following our final game of the season, which is against Milton Keynes Dons on Sunday, 30th April.

News, released via Saddlers.co.uk, confirms; Supporters will be invited to stay behind after the conclusion of the MK Dons game for the presentations, which will be made on the pitch.

An Awards Evening was initially scheduled for after the MK Dons game, but due to the early kick-off time (midday), the event was moved to Saturday, April 22 following our trip to Coventry City’s Ricoh Arena.

As the Port Vale game was subsequently rearranged for Tuesday, April 25, it was decided it would be inappropriate for the players to have a late evening the prior Saturday. Due to the way the fixtures have fallen, it has made an Awards Evening unfeasible this year.

This revised format will allow all supporters at the MK Dons game to be a part of our end-of-season awards ceremony.
