Young Walsall defender Callum Cockerill-Mollett has been called up by the Republic of Ireland Under-18s for this month's Slovakia Cup Tournament.
Leicester-born Cockerill-Mollett, who signed his first professional contract with the Saddlers last August, made his first-team debut in the 5-2 Checkatrade Trophy over Grimsby Town later that month and was part of the Central League North West Division title earlier this term and was also recently nominated for the 2016/17 League One LFE Apprentice of the Year.
Jim Crawford's Under 18s side have been grouped with Czech Republic, Russia and Turkey in the eight-team competition, with a classification game also involved. Their first match is against Czech Republic in Modrankaand will take place next Monday, 24th April, with kick-off scheduled for 2:00pm.
