Following a public vote, Erhun Oztumer's goal against Bolton Wanderers, which took place at the Macron Stadium on Saturday, 11th February, has been named as the Sky Bet League One Goal of the Month for February.
Erhun, who was nominated alongside Rob Hall of Oxford United and Andrew Tutte of Bury, picked up 63% of all votes cast and collects his second Goal of the Month award of the season,as he also won October's award following his long-range strike against Swindon Town..
Following the reveal of todays award Oztumer spoke to the press and welcomed the accolade, he said; "Goals are what win games - unfortunately this one didn't but I've won an award for it again so I'm really happy. I remember the ball was bouncing around and it came to me. I had no options but to shoot so I just hit it with the outside of my foot on the half-volley and it flew into the top corner.
"It was a great feeling to score in front of a big crowd against a very good side. I always dream about scoring those goals."
