Walsall goalkeeper Neil Etheridge was unbeaten earlier today as the Philippines national side were held to a scoreless draw by Malaysia as they prepare for their AFC Asian Cup Qualifying match with Nepal which takes place on Tuesday.
Wednesday's match, which took place at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila, was a fairly tame affair with little in the way of goal-scoring opportunities as the majority of the battle was conducted in midfield.
Etheridge did not have to deal with a single shot on target as his defence were more than equipped to force the Malaysian side to shoot from distance.

Statistics show that the Azkals were by far the better side, forcing several saves out of the opposition 'keeper, but had to settle for a share of the spoils as neither side could grab a goal, making today's result the fifth straight draw between the two.
