Walsall attacker Erhun Oztumer has spoken to club journalists and discussed the Saddlers' recent spell of form, which has seen them move further away from the relegation zone and cement a place in the chase for the Play-Off places, insisting that he and his teammates have the belief to continue their charge up the table.
Speaking via Saddlers.co.uk, Erhun, who has scored thirteen league goals since joining the club from Peterborough United over the summer, said; "We’re playing well, our home form is probably scary to opponents. We’re on a good run and we’re in touching distance of the play-offs again, so everyone is believing at the moment.
"If we keep fighting and keep believing then hopefully we can sneak in there. You need to have belief. We’ve got that mentality now where we’re going into every game like it’s our last and we want three points in every game we play.
"We feel like we win games more in the second half. I’m not sure if it’s to do with our fitness or shooting towards our fans. It could be those little percentages that make the difference."
