As the Saddlers enjoy an extended New Year break, Walsall legend Jimmy Walker has taken to Twitter to express his dismay at the club's current recruitment policy.
This comes after the news that former Saddlers youth prospect Alex Reid has left local side Rushall Olympic and penned a deal with our League One rivals Fleetwood Town, while Hednesford Town full-back Cohen Bramall has made a shock £40,000 switch to Premier League giants Arsenal.
Wacka, who you can follow HERE, said; "Hednesford to Arsenal. Rushall to Fleetwood. What is going on. Walsall, we should be signing these players."
The club record appearance holder then went on to suggest that fellow former Saddler Darren Wrack, who now works as a scout, should be signed to recruit new talent.
