Saddlers stopper Neil Etheridge has been named in the EFL's 'Team of the Week' following his fine display against Southend United, which saw the Philippines international keep a clean sheet against a determined Shrimpers attack.
The EFL's Team of the Week announcement, which you can read HERE, states; Etheridge produced save upon save to thwart Southend United and help Walsall to a point at the Banks's Stadium. Nile Ranger, Anthony Wordsworth and Stephen McLaughlin were among those denied by the Saddlers' stopper.
