Walsall manager Jon Whitney has spoken to the local press ahead of Saturday's 'M6 Derby' against Coventry City, and has insisted that he will not get too carried away with the Saddlers' recent good form, which has seen them go undefeated through the month of October.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Jon said; "I take each day as it comes. We have set ourselves up for a really good week because I think the performance against Swindon will send out a bit of a message.
"We can re-group, freshen up and get them ready for Coventry. We have lost one in nine now and it is five games unbeaten but we won’t get carried away. We have done it through hard work and now our focus switches to Coventry."
