Walsall Football Club have confirmed that central-defender James O'Connor will miss Saturday afternoon's League One clash with Northampton Town.
James, who was recently named as the club's Vice-Captain following the departure of Paul Downing to Milton Keynes Dons over the summer, has suffered a hamstring injury and will not be in contention as the Saddlers return to action following the international break.
