Walsall look set to receive a small financial boost as former Saddlers winger Jamie Paterson has today completed a transfer from Nottingham Forest to Bristol City, for an as yet undisclosed fee.
24-year-old, Coventry born Paterson, who made his Walsall breakthrough in 2010, joined Forest for an undisclosed fee in 2013, made thirty-nine appearances during his first season in the side.
Part of Paterson's 2013 transfer agreement is believed, though not confirmed, to include a sell-on clause which should see the Saddlers receive in the region of 10-15% of the profit of any future sale.
Jamie, who made thirty-six appearances whilst on loan with Huddersfield Town last season, has agreed a three-year deal with the Robins.
