Walsall manager Jon Whitney has spoken to the local press, and offered a brief update on the status of left-back Rico Henry, who was stretchered off during the Saddlers' draw with Oldham Athletic last weekend.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Jon said; "Rico has some damage to the shoulder but not as extensive as we thought so that is a positive. He is coming in on Thursday for another appraisal and we will probably get him assessed.
"There is no time period on it yet. I am going to sit down with them and discuss it. I don’t think it will go to surgery, it will be a rehab. Knowing Rico he will want to strap it up and get out there but I have to manage that and make sure we give the right advice. It is a decision we have to make together but it definitely won’t be months."
