Walsall Football Club have today confirmed the loan signing of Aston Villa defender Kevin Toner, who joins the club until January 2017.
The 20-year old former Republic of Ireland Under 19 international becomes the Saddlers' thirteenth signing of the summer and makes the move across the West Midlands to bolster the clubs defensive options.
Born in Ashbourne, County Meath, Ireland, Kevin began his footballing career with hometown club Ashbourne United in 2006, before joining Home Farm in 2012.
Kevin's stay with Home Farm was short-lived as he was soon snapped up by Aston Villa, joining their youth system before turning pro in 2015.
The left-sided defender, who recently penned a two-year deal with the Villains, joined Kidderminster Harriers for a short-term loan last season and went on to make six league appearances.
