Walsall manager Jon Whitney has spoken to club journalists following today's news that attacking midfielder Franck Moussa had joined the club on a one-year deal, and has described the 26-year-old as a game changer, someone who can torment the opposition.
Speaking via Saddlers.co.uk, Jon said; "I’d been after Franck for three to four weeks so it’s great for me and great for the club that he’s signed. I’ve watched him over the years and he’s tormented teams. He’ll bring pace, individual flare and goals - he scores 25 yarders, tap-ins. He’s a goalscorer and a game changer.
"Franck’s someone I’ve always respected and I’ve always thought that if I could get a team together, I’d like him to be a part of it. That’s what I put across to him and he can see the potential of this club and the potential of this young team."
