Walsall and Brentford have today confirmed that, following his decision to turn down the Saddlers' offer of a new three-year deal, St. Kitts and Nevis international midfielder Romaine Sawyers has agreed to join the Bees on a four-year contract.
Birmingham-born Sawyers, who joined the Saddlers from West Bromwich Albion in the summer of 2013, made over one-hundred-and-fifty first team appearances in a Walsall shirt becoming a first-team regular.
Romaine, who has penned a four-year deal to join up with former Walsall manager Dean Smith, joins Jason Demetriou, Andy Taylor, Paul Downing, Anthony Forde, Milan Lalkovic, Jordan Cook and Sam Mantom in exiting the club following last season's Play-Off reaching campaign.
Walsall are yet to confirm whether they have agreed compensation with the Bees.
