Following last week's news that several clubs, including Burnley, Leeds United and West Ham United, had expressed an interest in Walsall defender Rico Henry, the Birmingham-born left-back continues to be linked with a move to West Ham, with the Olympic Stadium club reported to be considering a bid that would take both Leeds and Burnley out of the running.
19-year-old Henry, who has made fifty-four first-team appearances since he graduated from the Saddlers' youth system in 2014, has been the subject of plenty of transfer speculation over the past two years, with clubs such as Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur also believed to be keeping tabs on his progress.
There is also speculation that the Hammers, who could offer something in the region of £1,500,000, only allowed the Saddlers to loan young defensive midfielder George Dobson so they could have first refusal on Henry's services.
