Rangers manager Mark Warburton has hinted that, despite several months of transfer speculation, he is not currently chasing Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw, and also insisted that the press are yet to name a mystery man that he is actively pursuing.
Speaking via several publications, Warburton, who has already secured eight summer signings, said; "We are looking at that fourth centre-half situation and we are also looking at bolstering the striking position, as well. If we get these deals done we will be OK.
"But it's not simple sometimes. They want £2million, you are prepared to pay £500,000 then you try to meet somewhere in the middle. We might spend money or we might not spend money. The trick is to get the work down under the radar as Frank McParland has been doing so far."
As the press continue to link Rangers with several strikers, including Walsall's Tom Bradshaw and Birmingham City's James Vaughan, Warburton went on to reveal that the press are yet to identify his actual target, he said; "We have been linked to so many strikers and that's good because the real targets have not been mentioned. The one we want is one you haven't dug up yet but I have no doubt you guys will keep on digging."
