It has been confirmed that Jordan Cook, who turned down Walsall's offer of a new contract at the end of last season, has today completed a free transfer to Sky Bet League Two side Luton Town.
26-year-old Cook, who has been taking part in the Hatters' pre-season training camp in Hungary, has put pen-to-paper on a two-year contract and will be keen to cement a place in their first-team squad as they look to improve on last season's mid-table finish.
Born in Hetton-le-Hole, Jordan began his career with boyhood club Sunderland and turned professional in 2009, he went on to enjoy loan spells with Darlington, Walsall and Carlisle United before joining Charlton Athletic on a free transfer in the summer of 2012.
Jordan made a total of fifteen appearances for the Addicks and also had a one-game loan spell with Yeovil Town before returning to the Banks's Stadium on a permanent basis in the summer of 2014.
Cook made ninety-one appearances in a Walsall shirt, where he scored ten goals and provided ten assists over the length of his Saddlers career. We wish him all the best for his future career.
