Following Saturday afternoon's pre-season victory over Luton Town, which saw Simeon Jackson secure his first goal in a Saddlers shirt, Walsall manager Jon Whitney spoke to the local press and gave an update on potential signings.
Speaking to the Express & Star's Saddlers correspondent Joseph Masi, Jon revealed that he hopes to secure another signing ahead of Saturday's season-opening Sky Bet League One clash with AFC Wimbledon.
Whitney, who has already added ten new players to his squad, is said to be keen on boosting his attacking options with the Saddlers having just two recognised strikers in the first-team.
