Following Saturday afternoon's pre-season victory over Luton Town, which saw Simeon Jackson secure his first goal in a Walsall shirt, Walsall manager Jon Whitney spoke to the local press and gave an update an out-of-contract midfielder.
Speaking to the Express & Star's Saddlers correspondent Joseph Masi, Jon revealed that he hopes to offer midfielder Isaiah Osbourne a new deal when he and the rest of the Saddlers squad return to training on Monday.
Osbourne, who missed the entire 2015/16 campaign through injury, has been in good form throughout pre-season and will be another solid addition to Walsall's rebuilt squad.
