Walsall goalkeeper Neil Etheridge has spoken to the local press as he and his teammates continue to prepare for next weekend's season-opening clash with AFC Wimbledon, and has backed manager Jon Whitney as he believes the club's ten new recruits have all settled in well.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Neil said; "The gaffer has brought in the right players. He’s done a fantastic job bringing in the right characters. He spoke to me, Adam Chambers and James O’Connor about bringing in the right personnel.
"You have to get it right on the field and off the field because we work together day in, day out. I still feel part of the same team, it’s just the faces that are different."
