As Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw edges ever closer to sealing a move away from the Banks's Stadium, Press Association football writer Nick Mashiter reports that the deal could be worth somewhere in the region of £650,000.
Mashiter, who was previously the Express & Star's Walsall correspondent, believes that Rotherham United's interest ended as the Saddlers refused to lower their valuation, and Barnsley have stepped in and agreed terms.

The deal is likely to mirror that of former Saddler Troy Deeney, who joined Watford for £500,000 in the summer of 2010. His transfer entitled Walsall to a series of add-ons including an extra £75,000 if the Hornets reached the Premier League, plus a further £75,000 if they retained top-flight status with the Birmingham-born attacker still in the squad.
Meanwhile Bradshaw, who joined the Saddlers from Shrewsbury Town in the summer of 2014, has been linked with a move to several clubs including Rangers, Birmingham City, Barnsley and Preston North End, with the Tykes the only side to have had an offer accepted.
