According to reports on the Birmingham Mail's website, local Barclays Premier League side West Bromwich Albion are yet to receive an answer from Walsall over a potential loan move for striker Tahvon Campbell, following his appearance during the Saddlers' friendly clash with Norwich City earlier this month.
19-year-old, Birmingham born Campbell is a product of the Baggies' youth system and rose through the ranks to turn professional at the beginning of the 2015/16 campaign.
Tahvon, who is yet to make a first-team appearance for West Brom, played for 45-minutes during the clash with the Canaries, which took place at St George's Park, but has not been selected for any of Walsall's other pre-season ties as manager Jon Whitney continues to consider his options ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.
The Mail reports that the Baggies are keen for Campbell to gain more first team experience, but it does not appear he will get that opportunity with the Saddlers.
