According to reports on the Express & Star website, Walsall Football Club are keen to sign former loanee Florent Cuvelier, who is set to be a free agent when his contract expires at the end of the month.
The 23-year-old former Portsmouth and Stoke City midfielder will depart current club Sheffield United on 30th June and is said to be on Walsall manager Jon Whitney's list of potential transfer targets.
Following his two successful loan spells at the Banks's Stadium, Florent went on to join Sheffield United in September 2013 but failed to make an impact after suffering a series of injuries. Flo also had loan spells with Port Vale and Burton Albion but again failed to prove his worth with injuries putting an end to his first-team ambitions.
