With this week marking the official change between seasons, the Football League have taken a statistical look back at the 2015/16 campaign.
The stats show that a total of 4,266 goals were scored in the 1,656 Sky Bet Football League matches played, with 41% of the games ending in home wins and 32% away wins, with 27% ending in draws.
The best away record in Sky Bet League 1 was held by Dean Smith/Sean O'Driscoll/Jon Whitney's Walsall, who picked up 45 points on the road, which were 65% of those available. The Saddlers also bagged 40 goals away from home, which is joint 4th in the Football League.
Newly promoted Burnley took 61% of the points available from their travels, which was the best in the Sky Bet Championship, while in Sky Bet League 2, both Northampton Town and Oxford United took 49 points (71%) away from home.

Walsall also appear on the list of sides with the best goal difference, as they scored 22 more than they conceded. The previously mentioned Oxford United top the list with a remarkable goal-difference of +43.
Meanwhile, Walsall's twenty-goal top-scorer Tom Bradshaw was joint 17th in the list of players who notched over twenty goals over the course of last season.
