Walsall Football Club have confirmed that, following his decision to turn down the Saddlers' offer of a new one-year deal, winger Milan Lalkovic has today agreed terms with Sky Bet League Two side Portsmouth, with the deal set to commence on Friday, 1st July.
In a brief statement, released via Saddlers.co.uk, the club confirmed; Walsall Football Club can today confirm that a Compensation Agreement has been reached with Portsmouth Football Club to allow Milan Lalkovic to join the League Two side.
The 23-year-old former Chelsea winger, who returned to the Saddlers last summer following a six-month spell with Barnsley, announced his decision to leave the Banks's Stadium via his official Facebook page and went on to thank Walsall fans for their support.
Milan said; "Walsall is a fantastic club. I love Walsall fans, I love the staff and I love the whole club."
