Reports on The Sun's website suggest that Barclays Premier League Champions Leicester City will need to pay around £32,000,000 for Watford's former Walsall striker Troy Deeney, as the Hornets seek to cover the amount the Saddlers are due in sell-on fees.
Walsall, who sold Deeney to Watford in the summer of 2010, are due around 20-25% of the potential profit Watford will make on their initial £500,000 pay-out.
However reports suggest that a deal isn't close as the two sides are 'miles apart' in terms of agreeing a fee, with some reporting that a bid of £25,000,000 has already been rebuffed.
