Sky Bet Championship side Huddersfield Town are being linked with a £1,000,000 move for Nottingham Forest's former Walsall winger Jamie Paterson, who enjoyed a successful loan spell with the Terriers during the 2015/16 campaign.
24-year-old, Coventry born Paterson, who made his Walsall breakthrough in 2010, joined Forest for an undisclosed fee in 2013, and went on to make thirty-nine appearances during his first season in the side.
Part of Paterson's 2013 transfer agreement is believed, though not confirmed, to include a sell-on clause which should see the Saddlers receive in the region of 10-15% of the profit of any future sale.
It must be noted that neither Walsall or Nottingham Forest have confirmed the existence of a clause, however a transfer which sees a young talent moving to a higher placed club often includes such an agreement.

Jamie made thirty-six appearances for Huddersfield last season and is said to be keen to return to the John Smith's Stadium club on a permanent basis, however, despite earlier approaches being made, the two clubs are still yet to agree terms.
