According to reports, Walsall Football Club are among a group of clubs interested in securing the signature of Gillingham midfielder Josh Wright.
The 26-year-old, who joined the Kent club on a free transfer last summer, will be out of contract later this month but has been offered a new two-year deal to remain at the Sky Bet League One club as they seek to challenge for the promotion places in 2016/17.
Huddersfield Town and Scunthorpe United are also said to be keen on the midfielder who made forty-four first-team appearances over the 2015/16 campaign.
Bethnal Green-born Wright spent two years with Scunthorpe United between 2009 and 2011, where he made over eighty first-team appearances before joining Millwall, Leyton Orient and Crawley Town ahead of last season's move to the Priestfield Stadium.
