Leicester City transfer target Troy Deeney is set to reject Watford's offer of a new long-term £50,000-a-week deal in favour of a move to the King Power Stadium.
27-year-old, Birmingham born Deeney is said to be keen on a move to the Barclays Premier League Champions as they continue their pursuit of the former Walsall striker with a series of big-money offers.
Leicester, who defied massive odds to take the Barclays Premier League title ahead of second-placed Arsenal, have already seen two bids rejected, with previous reports suggesting that the Foxes are prepared splash out up to £30,000,000 for the club Captain, who bagged thirteen goals over the course of the 2015/16 campaign.
Meanwhile Walsall, who sold Deeney to Watford in the summer of 2010, are due around 20-25% of the potential profit Watford make on their initial £500,000 pay-out and will be keen for the Foxes to push ahead with their reported interest.
