As Jon Whitney and his backroom team continue to prepare for the upcoming Sky Bet League One campaign, Walsall Football Club have today announced their fourth summer signing with Colchester United defender/midfielder Joe Edwards agreeing terms on a two-year deal.
25-year-old, Gloucester-born Edwards who began his professional career with Bristol City before enjoying spells with Bath City, Stockport County and Yeovil Town, will officially join the club on Friday, 1st July when his contract at Colchester United officially expires.
