Newly appointed Barnsley manager Paul Heckingbottom, who recently agreed a one-year rolling contract, has spoken to the press and confirmed that his side has placed a bid for Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw.
Paul, who was speaking via The Sheffield Star, said; “We’re looking at a lot of players for next season, but Tom (Bradshaw) and George Moncur are two players we’ve put bids in for. They’re both very good players and players we think would fit in well at the club. They fit the mould of player we’re looking at.
“Looking at our squad we definitely need another centre forward, a central midfielder and strength on the wings. Those are areas we’re looking to strengthen in.”
